Franklin is a bright, disciplined, humble, and outgoing young boy who is currently in Grade 7  at Daisy Centre and School. Franklin is the youngest in a family of three children. His mother, a matron at Daisy Centre and School, works tirelessly to provide for her three children. Despite her best efforts, the little she earns is spread thin between her children: the firstborn is a third-year student at the University of Eldoret, the second-born is in Form 3, about to enter Form 4, and Franklin, who is about to join junior secondary school, still requires funding for his education. Unfortunately, his mother has no other support, as her husband, Franklin's father, has been unable to provide due to severe health issues. In 2018, he suffered a stroke while cutting down a tree, which also damaged his heart. His condition causes him stress and prevents his heart from pumping blood effectively, requiring costly medication that the family struggles to afford. The school is appealing for sponsorship to ensure Franklin has the resources he needs to continue his education and work toward his dream of becoming an engineer.
