Benjamin Otieno

Dream Career: Medical Doctor

Benjamin recently lost all of his siblings and his father. Now him and his mother have been evicted from their home and have to rent a place to stay. Even with the very little they now have, Benjamin's mother does all she can to try and send Benjamin to school. It took everything she had to get Benjamin to Daisy School. But that is all she could do. Benjamin showed up with nothing in his possession and does not have a way to even get home to his mother when the school breaks for holiday.
Elizabeth Agiza
3rd Grade
Dream Career: Neurosurgeon

Elizabeth is the first child of a single mother. Her father divorced her mother and completely abandoned the family when she was only 2 years old. Elizabeth's mother does all she can to ensure Elizabeth and her brother Jayden, get an education. But as a single mother, she has always struggled to be able to provide all she could for her children. Recently she had to under-go surgery, and the medical bills plus the cost of the medication have cost the family greatly and Elizabeth's mother, heartbreakingly, can no longer afford the school fees for Elizabeth.

Dream Career: Teacher​

Catherine's father had his life cut tragically short in an accident. Since he was the sole contributor to her family's finances, his death not only rocked the family emotionally but also financially. Catherine's family went from being able to afford all the necessities and send Catherine to school, to struggling to provide food and clothing. Currently Catherine lives with her grandmother while her mother works any and every job she can to support her struggling family, but even after all her hard work she can longer afford to send Catherine to school.

Gianna Sisa Toola
Dream Career: Teacher​

Gianna is the child of a single mother. Despite having Gianna's father abandon them both, and no other family to lean on, Gianna's mother has always fought to give Gianna as much as she can, including an education. Gianna's mother got their income from a small shop that she ran, but when she fell ill along with the global pandemic of Covid 19, the shop had to close and the means of funds was cut off. Now Gianna's mother is doing all that she can, with any job she can get, to be able to provide for her daughter but she can no longer afford to send Gianna back to school.

Priest William
Dream Career: Police Officer​
​
Priest is the second child in his family. His father is the main financial provider and was able to provide for his family and send Priest to school. However when a fire destroyed the place his father worked. His father tries to get any job that he able to but the family struggles much more with the basic needs and rely on the aunt of the family to help with food and other basic necessities. Priest's family is devastated they can no longer afford to send Priest to school

Dream Career: Medical Doctor​

Priscah is a happy child despite her childhood circumstances. Her father is deceased and abandoned by her mother, she lives with her aging grandparents who are too old to work and only live on a small pension equivalent to 20 US dollars to take care of themselves and Priscah. With so little to live on, her grandparents are struggling to pay for her education.
